1. Collecting Information about you

The data that we collect about you is only done when you agree to make a booking with us, attend your appointment and complete a mandatory consult. The type of information collected would be your name, date of birth, telephone number and other details related to the condition of your nails, contra-indications and desired service. These types of data are needed to make up a contract as required by our insurers. We also use third party services such as Google Calendar API to provide an online booking experience who adhere to GDPR regulations.

When you access our sites, we collect anonymised data through Google Analytics to study how users interact with the website. This is used primarily to know what improvements can be done to the sites.

2. Processing Information about you

We only use contact data if there is a problem with the booking. We use your email address as a marker for the Google Calendar API which will also notify the client of when an appointment is due. We do not use it for marketing or other means to promote services. We use RSS which can be downloaded by anyone and offers can be pulled over any device.

3. Using your personal information

The information we hold about you is present in client consultation cards. These are used to know what treatments you had received and any problems that have occured. On the extremely rare occassion, this information will be disclosed to our insurers if a claim has been made.

4. Retention of data

Our insurers require the safe retention of client for at least seven (07) years after your last appointment. It is because of this reason that data about you cannot be destroyed before this period. After this time span has elapsed, a request can be made from the client for the data to be destroyed.

5. Security online

We are committed to ensuring that the information collected about you is secure. We take reasonable measures including administrative, technical and physical procedures to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. When you make a booking or chat, all Internet communication is secured using Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") technology with a high degree of security encryption.

6. Your right to data access and privacy choices

You have the right to request access to the personal data that we hold about you and you may always direct us not to perform any of the procedures of collecting, storing or sharing the information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. If you request that we no longer process your data, we will no longer be able to provide the service to you. You have the right to obtain from us: Right to Access Your Data: You can ask us for a copy of your personal data and can ask for a copy of personal data. Object to, or Limit or Restrict, Use of Data: You can ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data or to limit our use of it. Amend Data: You can request the correction or update of personal data that we hold about you. Delete Data: You can ask us to erase or delete all or some of your personal data.

Revoking Consent If you choose to withdraw your consent to our further processing as described in this Privacy Policy, please note that we may no longer be able to provide you with the services you have requested and may therefore terminate relevant agreements with you. In addition, we may be required to continue to hold your personal data to fulfill insurance obligations.
